Ashley Gann, meteorologist, public information officer, and university instructor. A veteran meteorologist, Ashley spent 17 years in the broadcast sector as both a television and digital meteorologist, receiving her Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal of approval through the American Meteorological Society. Pivoting from a life in front of the camera, where she covered some of the nation’s most historic weather events in the last 2 decades, Ashley now serves as the Public Information Officer for Auburn University within Institutional Compliance and Security. She continues to offer her weather expertise to a variety of stakeholders within the Auburn community, and elsewhere, while also giving back in the classroom as an instructor for both Aviation Meteorology and Career Development classes. A graduate of Auburn university, Ashley received her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, followed by a Masters in Geosciences from Mississippi State University.
